We currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Migration Agents across multiple cities Melbourne (multiple offices in CBD, Werribee, Thomastown & Clayton), Sydney & Adelaide (Mawson lakes). Registered Migration Agents (RMA) are crucial to the success of our Migration business and are the experts who can guide our clients in fulfilling their visa requirements to be able to live & work in Australia. The RMA is responsible for providing immigration advice to all types of temporary visa holders in Australia. They are up to date with current migration laws and procedures and help our clients navigate the complex world of visa applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand a client’s visa history, current requirement and offer the right solutions and support accordingly
  • Provide accurate and timely migration advice and assistance across a variety of visa sub-classes such as student visas, GSM, Partner visas, Visitor visas, TSS, ENS, RSMS, and MRT cases
  • Prepare and lodge precise visa applications with the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA)
    Liaise with the DoHA and related stakeholders including skill assessment authorities
  • Continuously expand and maintain knowledge base of migration legislation and policies
  • Create and preserve the client base and relationships by participating in existing business development activities
  • Maintain integrity, ethics and honesty and ensure compliance with the stipulated rules to preserve the integrity of the profession and the governing/regulatory body. Act in accordance with the Code of Conduct as administered by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) in Australia
  • Be responsible for reviewing the information and documents provided by the client and ensure it is accurate and in line with the legal requirements
  • Be well-versed with the organisation’s visa fee structure and prepare correct and fair quotes when requested by the client
  • Evaluate immigration cases objectively and honestly as well as convey and explain the information in a comprehensible/logical manner, ensuring that the client has a clear picture of their case and further plan of action
  • Be accountable for all visa issues and operations in the business and remain up to date with any changes to legislation
  • Create and maintain accurate client information such as enquiry notes, file notes, fees and follow-ups in the organisation’s CRM system
  • Build a strong referral pipeline and increase client retention by ensuring good after sale service engagement and encouraging service feedback via Google Reviews and social media reviews such as Facebook
  • Publish client success stories with the help of video testimonials, photographs and social media posts

Qualifications

Graduate in Migration law (essential)

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role within the migration industry (preferable)
  • Current MARA registration is a must
  • Strong technical knowledge with respect to the current Australian immigration laws and policy
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe skills
  • Excellent grasp and ability to navigate LEGEND

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with all especially external stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a quick TAT in terms of responding to clients as well as internal communication
  • Be proactive in regard to updating one’s knowledge base through research and self-learning
  • Strong listening skills, attention to detail and ability to logically reason and critically analyse information and data
  • Ability to be innovative and creative in finding the best possible solution when dealing with complex cases to find
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team but also autonomously to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities and client expectations
