Your employee may be nominated for one of the skilled occupations listed on the list of qualifying occupations, such as the STSOL or MLTSSL, but you must first:

• Send in a legitimate job contract.
• For each occupation, pay a wage that is at least equal to the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT).
• Indicate in the nomination the job’s location and duration.
• Provide proof of labour market testing, if necessary.
• Pay the AUD 330 in fees.

English Language Requirements

For the short-term stream, the minimum required score in English language proficiency is five bands or equivalent overall, with at least 4.5 in each module; for the medium-term stream, the minimum score is five bands or equivalent overall, with at least 5.0 in each module.

Health And Character Requirements

You and any family members you listed on your application need to,

• Satisfy the health criteria by presenting the legitimate medical certifications that you obtained within a year after submitting your application.
